"What Have You Done Today?"


Have you ever looked back,
on what you did today,
really wondering how the time,
got spent and moved away?

Was there meaning in your day,
or did it breeze on through,
making you lose some time,
keeping you in a state of blue?

It doesn't take much to make your day
be better than your past,
it only requires that you do,
some things that make it linger and last.

It could be a phone call to someone who
hasn't heard from you in a while,
or making plans to do something
either sharing or alone with style.

Each day you have is precious time,
that should not be allowed to slip away,
because we have only so many today's
to keep us all at play.

So everyday write down the things
you did that day during your strife,
and make tomorrows that come to you,
an improvement for your life.
